The first episode features host Ray Kaderli of Texas-based Hemp Build Network interviewing a Colorado-based hemp building team from Healthy Hemp Homes to show how architects/designers can best work together to maximize success for a bio-based building project.

The episode focuses on the cooperation between designer, contractor and client to build a non-conventional dream home insulated with hempcrete blocks in the suburban Denver foothills.

Father and son team architect David Milburn and contractors Eric Milburn, along with builder-pattern Tanner Bowman, discuss project ideation with clients, dealing with building permits and design modifications specially made for hempcrete.

“Architects are looking to renew their continuing ed credits at the end of the year, and we want to give them something in a new format new to acquire their credits,” said Kaderli.
