Because our store offers both physical goods and downloadable digital resources, different return policies apply depending on the type of product purchased. Please review our policies below:
1. Digital Goods (Architectural Detail Library & Digital Downloads)
All sales of digital products are final.
Because digital assets (such as our Architectural Detail Library, PDF guides, and downloadable blueprints) are delivered instantly upon purchase and cannot be "returned," we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once the download link has been generated.
Technical Issues: If you experience any issues downloading your files, or if you notice a corrupted file, please contact us immediately at jeanlotus@hempbuildmag.com with your order number, and we will ensure you receive a functional copy.
2. Physical Goods (Books & Print Publications)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your reading material. If you need to return a physical book, our policy is as follows:
Return Window: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
Item Condition: To be eligible for a refund, the book must be unused, unmarked, and in the same pristine condition that you received it.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Damaged or Misprinted Items
If your book arrives damaged during transit, or if there is a severe printing defect, we will gladly replace it at no extra cost to you. Please email us at jeanlotus@hempbuildmag.com within 7 days of delivery with:
Your order number
A brief description of the issue
A clear photograph of the damage or printing error
3. How to Initiate a Return or Report an Issue
To start a return for a physical book, or to report a problem with a digital download, please contact our support team:

Response Time: We typically respond to all customer service inquiries within 2–3 business days.
4. Refunds (If Applicable)
Once your returned physical book is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item and whether your refund has been approved.If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.
