Description: Another comprehensive training in hemp-lime construction designed to mirror the full educational experience of the Parkdale workshop while offering expanded hands-on application. Alongside the complete lecture series on hemp-lime building science, design principles, and construction methodology, participants will work directly on both exterior and interior hemp-lime wall assemblies on a beautiful full-scale hempcrete home in Underwood, Washington. This workshop places particular emphasis on detailing hemp-lime systems for exterior exposure, including strategies for air and moisture management, thermal performance, and long-term durability across a range of climate contexts. Participants will gain technical insight into best practices for formwork, mixes, installation sequencing, curing conditions, and integration with adjacent building systems. This training is ideal for anyone seeking a comprehensive and practice-oriented understanding of hemp-lime construction, whether entering the field for the first time or advancing toward professional-level competency.
